A competitive 2 player game I made with Barry Whittaker as SaBa. The first version was shown in Osaka, Japan at the Headspace Art and Music Festival in 2011.
Players use small spacecraft to direct floating space debris into their home planet's orbit. The crafts are fueled by alcohol fumes, which the players provide by breathing into custom controllers. The higher the alcohol content, the faster (and more erratic) they move.
Version 1 featured hacked steering wheel-style controllers supplemented with control panels which the players could use to change sounds, visuals, and physics of the game.
Version 2 is forthcoming and will feature expanded controls, refined gameplay, and daily leaderboards.
This is played by following paths and passing through holes punched in the surface of a folded, double sided maze. Players can pass from one side of the paper to another, or through multiple overlapping holes at once.
Made for Osaka Zine Fair '11.
The text is from a Japanese children's finger swear:
指切りげんまん嘘ついたら針千本飲ます指切った
"Finger cut promise. If you tell a lie, I'll make you drink a thousand needles. Fingers cut."
Printed edition was made for Osaka Zine Fair '11.
